Here’s a VR based solution, presenting ONEW’s Spray Painting simulator. This simulator helps
trainees to stabilize hand movement for spraying uniform layer of paint in an immersive
environment. based on the computer generated result the score of the trainee is monitored and
improvement is understood. The result is in the form of graph for better understanding and analysis.

Real-time assisted tips in student training will show assists prompts while spraying. These tips allow students to grasp the spraying technique fast. It gives students the correct spraying technique, the student can then change hand movements, spraying speed, spraying angle accordingly. When spraying process is complete, the system will show error marks so the student can intuitively understand their mistakes. These records will be transferred to the student’s databases ot hatitis easy for student’s revise and research repeatedly.

3D graphics representation of the paint to resemble the real world painting experience. This simulator shows the paint accumulation and forms layer of thick paint coating making it to drip down slowly. This gives the trainee a real feel of painting.

17.Result display:
After the spraying process has been completed, the trainee is able to see the result page. The result page displays the graph of travel angle, distance between the gun and screen, vertical angle, and speed of spraying. It also evaluates a sprayin tensity graph. If the area of object has very thick spray coat, then the area is indicated in RED. If the area of object has not too thick and not too thin coat thickness, then the area is displayed in GREEN. If the area of object has a very thin coat, it is displayed in BLUE. This graphical representation will help the trainee to understand the mistakes and improve their spraying skills with practice. The result page also evaluates other spraying parameters such as paintflow(in%), airp ressure(inPa), area of fan(in%).
