Light weight silicon carbide bulletproof ceramic vest plate for body armour protection is made by pressureless sintered silicon carbide ceramic process with high purified silicon carbide powder and very few amount of additives to be fired in vancumed or in an inert gas atmosphere furnace at 2165℃. The products are of good performance of high dense and high smooth.
The bulletproof ceramic plates combided by silicon carbide ceramic and UHMW materials by special gel through thermal pressing molding. This product has great characteristic like weight, good performance to stop bullets under high velocity, and also can avoid secondary damage because of bullet jumping.
