3 Stop bleeding by simply adjusting the band, or by adjusting the turncap.
4 The device can press on the puncture point precisely to stop bleeding.
Radial artery compression device is to assist hemostasis of the raidal artery after a transradial procedure.
1 After the procedure- withdraw the sheath 2-3 cm and confirm to vasospasm is evident.
2 Align center of cushion 5mm behund puncture site and apply the patient.
3 Insert band into the slot on wist plate, fix the band with contour ot the wrist. Tighten up two scales and fix the Velcro to achieve pre-tighten position. The current pressure is about 100mm Hg.
4 Make several clockwise rotations of turn cap until adequate pressure is applies ot allow for haemostasis . Pressure indicators are as follows and visible as indicated through slots in screw culumn.
5 Compress the wrist plate whilst removing the sheath. Release and confirm haemostasis has been achieved. Ensure a raidal pluse is evident.
