1602 adopts standard 16-pin interface, wherein:
Step 1: VSS is the ground power supply
Step 2: connect VDD to 5V positive power supply
Step 3: V0 is the contrast adjustment end of the liquid crystal display. When connected to the positive power supply, the contrast is the weakest; when connected to the ground power supply, the contrast is the highest. When the contrast is too high, "ghost" will be generated
Step 4: RS is the register selection, data register is selected when the power is high, instruction register is selected when the power is low.
Step 5: R/W is the read-write signal line. Read operation at high voltage and write operation at low voltage. When RS and RW are both low voltage, they can write instructions or display address; when RS is low voltage, RW is high voltage, it can read busy signal; when RS is high voltage, RW is low voltage, it can write data.
Step 6: the E end is the enabling end. When the E end changes from high level to low level, the liquid crystal module executes the command.
