Tilapia is ranked 6th in terms of pond fish production which contributes 8.1% of total aquaculture production. A total of around 201,000 farmers are involved in tilapia culture. It is projected that the number of tilapia farmers would be around 330,000 in 2016-17. As tilapia culture is possible in a wide range of freshwater and salinity conditions, thus the total tilapia producing area has been increased from 52,694 ha in 2008-09 to 130,057 ha in 2010-11. It is projected that the tilapia culture area will reach at around 330,000 ha in 2016-17 including ponds, ghers and floodplains. Tilapia is produced in a wide range of culture systems, including small-scale, low-input, rural ponds, semi-intensive, intensive and commercial operations. Most farmers (70%) produce tilapia under polyculture while the remainder (30%) practices in monoculture. Around 30% of farmers are involved in extensive/improved-extensive farming, while 50% and 20% of farmers practice semi-extensive and intensive farming, respectively. The total annual tilapia production in Bangladesh was estimated at 177,682 tonnes in 2011-12. It is projected that the total production of tilapia will be reached at around 311,000 tonnes in 2016-17.

1. 1st we Insert a poly inside the bottom of the Cock-sheet Box
2. Then we make a cover of a ICE layer
3. After that we make ready the 1st layer of fish
4. We Put the Fish stomach on upper side
5. We put again another layer of ice
6. We repeat the same process
7. The whole thing looks that the Fish is covered fully by ice
8. We do the same things, e.g. covering with ICE and putting Fishes' upper part of poly
9. Then we tight the poly by tape
10. We put cover the insulation box
11. We tight the outer part of the box using another plastic cover tape
12. We Write Box number mark, Net weight & put Label of Airway Bill product details
