WHAT WE DO: TURNING PADDY HUSKS TO BRIQUETTES
FOR BIOMASS ENERGY APPLICATION
Study revealed that about 20% of the paddy weights are husks, in other words, during the rice milling process, 5 tons of paddy will give a product yield of 1 ton of paddy husk. The production of paddy husk briquettes takes place within Biohusk Energy’s state-of-the-art facility located in Kedah. It is where all paddy husk briquettes are manufactured from the unused paddy husks through cutting edge briquette pressing equipment and solutions.Company InformationBackground
Our story began in Kedah – the rice bowl of Malaysia – where the rice production process creates a huge low-value waste. Rice husks are typically burned and wasted; however, we turn them into briquettes and they make a perfect solution for biomass energy.Sustainability
Every industry strives to become carbon neutral in order to spur sustainable development. Thus Biohusk Energy was founded, to lead change for society and sustainability. How we work
Our rice husk briquettes are created with advanced briquette presses, which produce them at a consistent quality in bulk. We are based in Kedah, and aim to expand nationwide in time.
