CA50 antigen has a high rate of positive detection for many kinds of epithelial malignancies. According to the 1988 Chen reported and determination of all types of epithelial cancer of 258 cases, which pancreatic cancer and gallbladder carcinoma, the positive rate was the highest, reached 94.4%, followed by liver cancer was 88.2%, ovarian and uterine cancer 88.5%, malignant pleural effusion, rectal cancer, colon cancer, kidney and bladder cancer more than 70%, 68.9% of the gastric cancer, lung cancer 66.6%.
