Aalmonds from Extremadura (Spain) Guara variety with or without shell.
Our Extremaduran almond is an intense brown color with an ivory white interior. They are dried in the field in a natural way by sun, wind and evaporation and stored in our facilities. Before the peeling process, the almonds are moistened and remain in a silo for 24/48 hours to obtain an optimum humidity point of around 10%, then they are mechanically classified and dried with hot air below 40 degrees to reduce 6.5% humidity. Finally they are stored in cold rooms at -10 degrees and packed.

The almonds are dried with peel in the field, usually by natural methods (sun, wind and evaporation). Then, the almonds are stored in shell until they are taken to the production facilities. Before the peeling process takes place, the almonds are wetted and remain in a silo for 24-48 hours to obtain a humidity point of around 10-11%. This is achieved by not breaking the almond grain by the action of the machinery. After this, the peeled and mechanically peeled almonds are split and sorted and dried with hot air (always below 40 ° C) to reduce the humidity to around 6.50%. The almonds are normally stored in cold rooms at +/- 10ºC in Big Bags until they are re-packaged in other formats for delivery.
