The Cachaca brand that means - The Secret of Araxa, is produced in the City of Araxa, one of the largest mineral water stations in Brazil, located just by the entrance of Minas Gerais State.The beverage is distilled following strict patterns of hygiene and quality, with the utilization of fresh sugar cane plants, harvested, and immediately ground. The fermentation is controlled with corn, totally free from agrochemical products, and are all produced at the farm.The water we use is special, the altitude and the climate of the region are all ideal for the production of this high quality liquor.The responsibility and aim of our company is to produce a beverage totally distilled by a skilled craftsman, utilizing the best available techniques according to very strict patterns of hygiene and quality, focusing totally in a very demanding public which really appreciates the taste of fine liquor, absolutely, without harming the environment.The beverage is aged in oak barrels, kept in mild temperatures, luminosity and humidity adequate to obtain a suave, pleasurable taste and a characteristic scent of the best cachaca from Minas Gerais.The distillation of this liquor is done using copper alembics, heated by steam. The whole process of production is done carefully to assure the obtainment of a technically perfect beverage, in accords to the requirements stipulated by the Ministery of Agriculture.The result is a first quality liquor called Cachaca from Minas, which means that it comes from the State of Minas Gerais, with 42,5% proof of smooth flavor and a characteristic scent of one of the finest drinks of all.
