Applications & Indications
Citric Acid Monohydrate is used as a food additive and flavour enhancing substance in soft-drinks, energy drinks and club soda.
It is also used as a ph buffering agent food products.
Citric acid is an excellent chelating and cleaning agent used for binding metals in evaporators and boilers.
Citric acid can also be used as an acidity regulator and sequesterant.
Used as an alternative to nitric acid in Passivation of stainless steel as well.
