Maltitol is a sugar free sweetener made from high maltose syrup via hydrogenation and refining.It has lower sweetness than sucroser,better moisture-retention,acid-resistance and non-fermentation and can't be absorbed by certain bacteria.Because of its particular physiological function,physical and chemical characteristics and body tolerance,maltitol is a sweetener with fuctions that cannot be replaced by other sweeteners.
