The furnace has two on/off switches: the GREEN switch turns on the temperature thermostat allowing you to set the desired melting temperature.
The RED switch turns on the heating element to start the melting process.
The thermostat has two digital read-outs: the bottom readout (SV) displays the setting you enter into the furnace. The top read-out (PV) displays the actual temperature inside the crucible during operation.To change the temperature setting, simply press the left arrow key to move the cursor to the proper desired digit and press the up or down keys to adjust it up or down. Adjust each digit to the desired setting.
