The CLUNGENE® Chikungunya IgG/IgM Test is a lateral flow chromatog- raphic immunoassay for the qualitative detection of antibodies (IgG and IgM) to dengue virus in human Whole Blood/Serum / Plasma. It provides an aid in the diagnosis of infection with Chikungunya viruses.

This assay provides only a preliminary analytical test result. A more specific alternate chemical method must be used in order to obtain a confirmed analytical result. Gas chromatography/mass spectrometry (GC/MS) is the preferred confirmatory method.
