Impacts are designed to be used to removing fasteners and not putting fasteners on to a specific torque. Invest in a torque wrench for specific torque tightening applications. The Max torque for wrenches is calculated on a 10 second run time on a specific bolt size in perfect operating conditions. As with all impacts in the market, there are no specific torque settings for each adjustment. Each setting reduces airflow to the tool and hence reduce the torque. Torque levels will vary as there are too many variables. Just a few are: 1)Tools impact 1600 times a minute and with each impact, the fastener is tightened a little further. Too fast to count impacts. 2) You also have varying air pressure at the tool which plays a crucial role. 3) Size of the bolt your tightening. 4) The condition of your tool.
