A.Description of Woven Geotextiles:
Geotextilesarecomposedfromsyntheticpolypropylene/polyesterfibresthroughamechanicalprocessof
needlingthefabricandadding,whennecessary,athermofusedprocess,resultinginauniformporous
structurewithexcellenttensilestrengthandchemicaldeterioration.
Type:
1.Wovens&knitted:usevarious fibretypes(e.g.monofilament,multi-filament,splitextrudedfilm)
indifferentcombinations.
2. Non-wovens: stapleorcontinuousfibresthatare heattreatedorneedlepunchedto“fix”fibres relative
toeachother.


Wovengeotextilemainlyusespolypropylene(PP),polyethylene(PE)asrawmaterials.Afterextruding.Ithas
longtermcorrosionresistanceinthesoilandwaterwithdifferentPH;Duetoitsexcellentmicrobiological
degradationresistance.Thematerialislightandsoft,soitisconvenienttotransportandinstall.

preventingtheclaygranulefrompassing,itallowsthewaterandthegaspassthroughfreely.
2)Separation:
Theisolationoftherailwaydregsandtheroadbed,roadbedandthesoftbase,surfaceoftheairdromeand
parkinglotandthegroundsill,differentdammaterials.Itisolatesthesoilandthegraveloftwokindsdifferentgranulepathwayfromthegroundsillorotherbuildings.
3)Addingmuscle:
Thehighway,railway,soil-stonedam,breakwater,airport,backfillsoilofretainingwall,slopeprotection,etc
inwhichdistributestheearthstress,preventstheside-displacementoftheearthbodyandimprovestheearthbodystability.
4)Protection
Itpreventsthebankfrombeingwashedout,protectsthebankandthebottom,preventsthewaterandsoil
frombeingwashedaway.
