Description
Maydos SBS Spray glue, formulated with good-quality raw materials and conforming to national compulsory standard-GB18583-2001 requirements of restriction of harmful and hazardous substance, possesses such features as low VOC, fresh smell, high solid content, good flexibility, easy  application, strong dhesive force, environment-friendly etc. After hardening, it can be resistant to damp, water, heat, acid, alkali and bumping, so it is widely used for bonding sponge, scouring pad, heat insulating materials, fiber, wood and thin metal sheet.

Where to Use


It is suitable for bonding different materials such as sponge, foam, scouring pad, mattress, sound insulation cotton, heat-insulated materials, fiber, rubber, wood and thin metal sheet.



Notes


1. Seal it tightly and store it in a cool and well-ventilated place where the temperature is between 5.C -35.C and the relative
humidity is ≤80%. Don’t expose it under the sun.
2. Volatile solvent contained. Do not swallow. Keep it far away from open fire because of volatile solvent in it which is
inflammable and out of reach of the children. The room should be well- ventilated during application.

Directions for application
Remove the grease, dust, moisture, rust on the bonding surface. Make sure that the surface must be dry during rainy days, or it will cause non-stick atmosphere.
Recommended application system
Spraying
Apply the adhesive evenly on the two bonding surfaces with spray gun and the consumption is 80 - 90 g/m2. Spray gun with an
opening of 2.0-2.5 mm and 0.3-0.5 Mpa air pressure is recommended.
Thickness control
The adhesive should be applied evenly and not too thick to avoid the weakening of the bonding strength. But for porous materials
or materials with coarse surface, you can apply more accordingly.
Airing
After application, enough time should be given to let the solvent evaporate completely to avoid bubble or stickiness. The airing time is about 5-15 minutes/25C and varies from the temperature, humidity and adhesive film. The bonding can be done after the surface is dry by touch. For porous materials, you can bond directly after application of the adhesive.
Bonding
The application should be done once and for all. Aim the two surfaces, bond together and press. Don’t move the bonding surfaces
back and forth, or the bonding effect will be affected.
