Instructions:
1) Place the floor mat in an area where patient will step, such as the place beside the bed or the place in front of the wheelchair.
2) The smooth side of the floor pad should face down on the floor and should be ensured that the lead of the floor mat does not create any tripping hazard for anyone.
3)Ensure the floor mat does not slip or slide on the floor surface. If necessary, use the anti-slip mesh material* between the floor sensor mat and the floor, to prevent sliding when stepped on.
4) Plug the lead into the call cord receptacle and connect it with your monitorornurse call system. ^
Remarks:
*The anti-slip mesh material can also be bought separatly in our company.
^The Floor mat can use with a monitor, any types of monitor from our company are suitable for matching with the sensor pad.Application:
- The weight-sensing floor mat can activate a fall monitor or a nurse call system whenever pressure is applied on it.
- It can be used next to a bed or chair in order to monitor if a person is at risk of falling.
- It can also be used near the doorway tomonitor if a person is at risk of wandering or to monitor the entry of a room.
Test before each use:
1) Step on the Weight-sensing floor mat, the alert will sound on the monitor or to the nurse call system.
2) Turn the monitor OFF or press the reset button.
Cleaning instructions:
Clean the floor mat by wiping it off with a clean rag and the vinyl-tolerant cleaning solution. Don’t immerse the sensor mat.
Attention:
1) This product is an aid only and it may not be suitable for all patients.
2) It is not a substitute for staff vigilance or visual monitoring.
4) Bend, fold and roll the weight-sensing floor mat will cause damage to it.Therefore, itmust be stored flat only.
3) The minimum weight to trigger the alert is about 2kg.
