NengBoard series are rigid high temperature insulation ceramics which exhibit self-supporting and heat insulation properties at high temperature. NengBoard is a combination of high-purity ceramic fibers, refractory fillers, inorganic ceramic binders and a small amount of organic binders. Production process include wet mixing followed by stirring by compressed air and vacuum forming. NengBoard has low thermal conductivity, low heat storage, high strength at elevated temperature, and stable against thermal shock. These unique advantages make them suitable for following applications:
•High temperature electric furnaces and kilns (laboratory and production sizes)
•Hot face and back-up face thermal insulation of the furnaces and kilns
•High-temperature setters, supports and process fixtures
•Powder injection molding
•High temperature electric insulation
•Dental furnaces
Pre-fired NengBoard are available upon request which don't contain any organic binders and won't produce smoke or odors during the first heating cycle. Due to their homogenous and uniform structure, they are easy to cut and machine to customized shapes.
NengBoard exhibits excellent resistance to flame and airflow, good resistance to chemical attack and is not affected by oil or water. By the way, phosphoric acid, strong alkalis and hydrofluoric acid are the chemicals which can attack ceramic fiber boards.
Available Models NengBoard have 8 different models of ceramic fiberboards. NengBoard 1260 is Aluminium Silicate ceramic fiberboard with classification temperature of 1260°C. NengWool 1400 is High Alumina ceramic fiberboard with classification temperature of 1400°C. NengBoard 1430 and 1500 are polycrystalline mullite ceramic fiberboards. NengBoard 1600 and 1700 are polycrystalline alumina ceramic fiberboards.
