Q. What’s the distance range?
A. It can work up to 300m in open area. However, if you’re indoor, the distance can vary - it’s hard to say a number, because every wall and door can be different. As the device works with 2.4 GHz wireless operation so it's not guaranteed.
Q. Does it need to be plugged in to the mains or is it all battery fed?
A. It’s all battery fed, so you got the option to use battery only or keeping it always plugged in.
Q. How does the outside deviceconnect with power?
A. There is two way to powerthe outdoor unit: 1) use the ‘'DC Line'' wire provided in the pack, then connect the power adapter to the nearest wall plug. 2) You can use AAA drybatteries.
Q. Is this range suitable for multi-floor offices/house?
A. As long as it just the staircase going up, without any walls or closed doors blocking, it should be fine, otherwise it will work approximately up to 3 brick walls.
Q. Is it possible to switch the sound off if necessary?
A. Yes. There is a 'Mute Setting'
Q. Can you talk to the visitor at the door?
A. Yes. It has a two way microphone and speaker.
Q. Can I release the door with it?
A. Yes. It can be connected to a door look release, the lock & wiring are not included.

A. The battery life can be up to over 6 monthson standby.
