Stannous Octoate Catalyst(T-9) is a kind of light yellow transparent liquid viscous, extremely easily get oxidized, insoluble in water, but soluble in petroleum ether and polyols.
It's used as catalyst in PU synthetic and greenhouse RTV silicone rubber; it also can be used as catalyst dosage form curing agent of epoxy resin, during curing the catalytic activity of T-9 is more stronger than dibutyltin dilaurate; after blended, the effect be would better than it's used alone. Both reaction speed and the curing rate are improved. Since there are oxygen in air and water vaporation, so it's should be stored under nitrogen protection, and must be in sealed condition, avoid excessive heat and humidity, which might lead to decline in it's chemical activity.
