PVC RESIN SG5 , a synthetic resin belonging to the family of polymeric organic compounds, manufactured by bulk, solution, suspension, polymerization of vinyl chloride monomer, with free-radical initiators (peroxide catalyst), usually in aqueous suspension . After mixing with impact modifier, stabilizers, fillers, lubricant and pigments, the resin may be fabricated by techniques such extrusion into pipes, profile etc. PVC finds application in the construction trades.

Not allowed outdoor storage. Keep away from sunshine and humidity.

Applications
Typical applications of PVC include water pipes, drainage pipe, electrical conduit pipes, casing, gutters, roofing tiles. Rigid unplastised PVC is also used extensively in building applications such as window frames and cladding. Its compatibility with additives also allows for the possible addition of flame retardants although PVC is intrinsically fire retardant because of the presence of chlorine in the polymer matrix.
