Tartana and Finca Estell are high quality rices cultivated by the 5th generation of the "Gorets", a family with a long-standing rice tradition.
Bomba Rice - it is a variety very well appreciated by important restaurants, chefs, gourmets, foodies and the most demanding consumers. Its grain absourbs the flavors, getting an outstanding taste. it doubles its size, getting bomb shape after cooked. it requires 18-20 minutes to be ready. It is specially recommended for "Mediterranean" dished like Paella and Risotto.
Albufera Rice - It is a roundedpearl-shaped variety, with some characteristics from the Bomba variety and some from the Tipo Senia one. After being cooked, all the flavors have been absorbed and its shape remains. It requires around 16-18 minutes to be prepared. This variety is perfect for Paella, dry rice dishes and even Risottos.
Tipo Senia Rice - This variety is slightly moist in the core and the surface, which helps the flavor, and it ends up creamy after being cooked. It is appreciated by chefs because of its flavour and texture. It gets around a 70% bigger after being cooked and thickness. It requires 16-18 minutes to be ready. It absorbs the flavors and loses starch during cooking. It is recommended for all king of Mediterranean dishes.
Marisma Rice - Its grain is by far the biggest; round, thick and pearl-shaped. It absorbs a great deal of flavor and it loses starch during cooking. It needs less amount of time to be cooked, around 15 minutes. it is recommended for dishes like Paella, "Arroz al Horna", or rice desserts.
Integral Rice - It is Tipo Senia rice without the rice husk but it keeps the bran coat that covers the grain. It has more vitamins and minerals. It needs 30-35 minutes to be cooked, but if the rice is previously made soak it can be cooked in 20 minutes, in case the rice is soaked in water and hydrated. It is recommended for diets, salads, and side dish with beef, poultry or pork.Packaging & Shipping
