Established in 1983, the factory started with production of oil lamps, bottles and quartz tubes for industrial use. Production of stemware and tumblers began in the 1990's, and Fancy Glassware was the first in China to make stemware with the stem stretched from the bowl .Fancyglass began exporting in 1992.In 1995, Fancyglass imported a 4-ton capacity electric furnace from England.
