Yeast Cell Well is the cell wall fraction of Saccharomyces cerevisiae rich in carbohydrates mannan and ß-glucan. The yeast is first grown on a molasses based medium, then harvested. Further processing and purification is produced by processing yeast cells in a higly controlled system. Yeast Cell Wall stimulates the non-specific immune system of animals by increasing the activity of white blood cells and combines the advantages of various oligosaccharides such as balance intestinal microflora, absorb pathogens and mycotoxins in feed and improve animal production performance. Yeast Cell Wall has good thermicand chemical stability, and can tolerance against extreme processing conditions, without toxicity, side effect and residual pollution. Yeast Cell Wall is commercially available as co-product of the production of Yeast Extract.
