Features of TORELINA® PPS Resin


I. Heat resistance
Offers excellent long-term heat resistance, capable of sustained continuous use at 200˚C to 240˚C. Can also withstand high temperatures of 260˚C or greater for a short period of time.II. Mechanical strength
With a melting point of about 280˚C, a glass transition temperature of about 90˚C, and a heat distortion temperature of 260˚C to 270˚C, exhibits high strength even at high temperatures, while also offering excellent creep resistance.III. Hot water resistance
Has a low water-absorption ratio, so offers high levels of strength even in hot water.IV. Chemical resistance
Has a high degree of resistance to acids, alkalis, and various organic solvents, which is the second-highest resistance after fluororesin.V. Flame retardance
Offers high flame retardance (UL94 flammability class of 0) even without the addition of a flame retarder.VI. Electrical properties
