INTRODUCTION
The one step Hepatitis B Surface Antigen (HBsAg) test is a rapid chromatographic immunoassay for the qualitative detection of HBsAg in serum or plasma. This is for in vitro diagnostic use only.
SPECIMEN COLLECTION
The One Cassette Style HBsAg Test can be run on SERUM samples. The test works best on fresh samples.
1. When you are ready to begin testing, open the sealed pouch by tearing along the notch. Remove the test device from the pouch.
2. Using the plastic pipettor provided, draw about 2-3 drops (80-120uL) the sample into the sample well of the cassette.
3. Wait for 15 minutes and read results. Do not read results after 30 minutes.
