In 1951, the founder of Guan Hin name Chew Joon Eng was established as a small shop house in a small village in Penang called Kepala Batas. Since then, Guan Hin started its business as coffee powder maker in that village. 2 years later, due to increasing of the business growth leads by high demand of coffee powder in that area, Guan Hin had expand its business nature from coffee shop to coffee powder manufacturer and at the same time acquire over 5000 square feet factory as its business opportunity in year 1953.In late 1956, the founder found another business opportunity in Kelantan state and the second factory was established on that time. During the establishing, our founder started to expand its products range from coffee powder to spices and curry powder manufacturer in order to fulfill the local market in Kelantan.
