MLV is commonly used as a carpet underlayment, one type has a foam backing, the other doesn’t. The foam backing mat is recommended under carpets as it provides a vibration cushion, floating the barrier just off the floor. This helps reduce footfall and impact noise. MLV without the foam cushion would be under the subfloor or in walls and ceilings or as second layer to increase sound reduction even more. The type with closed cell foam is far more effective than the other two types in reducing impact noise.
Application
Liyin vibration absorption mat can be widely used in disco ballrooms, gymnasiums, KTV, factory workshops, home cinemas, etc. The vibrating-absorption mat can hugely reduce noice coming from vibration.
Acoustics Performance
If the original floor can be more than 15cm thick and the sand & cenment layer over the vibrating-absorption mat can be more than 4cm thick, airborne sound insulation can reach 55dB, crash sound insulation can reach 46dB.
Insallation
1.Please make the original floor clean and smooth.
2.Unfold Liyin vibrating-absorption mat on the floor, make the mat smooth.
3.Build one layer of sand and cement on the vibrating-absorption mat.

Acoustic panel also called soundproof panel which is designed according to the law of soundproofing. There are mainly three functions of acoustic panel. Sound absorbing, sound diffusing and sound insulation, with respect to a specified sound source and receptor: increasing the distance between source and receiver, using acoustic panel to reflect or absorb the energy of the sound waves, using damping structures such as acoustic panel, or using active antinoise sound generators.
