Features of basalt continuous fiber roving
Tensile strength≥0.6N/tex,modulus of elasticity≥91GPa,The elongation rate≥2%.
Continuous basalt fiber has the advantages of tensile, compressive,
stiffness and fatigue resistance balance etc. So it is used in bulletproof armor,
It has the properties of anti explosion fragments and blast wounding, it is anti ricochet,
no spallation, no two killer fragments functions, as ceramic cladding armor system backing material,
it has good performance. It has excellent resistance to chemical corrosion resistance, acid resistance,
alkali resistance, salt resistance, and it has good anti ultraviolet radiation performance.
Application of basalt continuous fiber roving
1. The Knitted mesh cloth, the geogrid and the high temperature filtration needle felt base cloth which used in the range of -260-650℃ has reliable performance.
2. It is wind with the pipeline and storage tank which is high temperature and ultra low temperature resistant and chemical corrosion resistant.
3. It mixed with the carbon fiber and winded with the natural gas cylinders and the liquefied gas cylinder.
4. It is used in Tank gun tube heat pipe protection, turrets ect.
5. It is used as the basic material for anti-bullet and protection.
6. It is used in cruise, toilet, storage tank, HOBAS pipeline, continuous winding pipe and plate.
7. It is used to make the composite fiber rebar and anchor.
8. It is used as the sound absorbing material for automobile silencer etc.
