Proppants are synthetic or natural grains such as coated sand or sintered bauxite ceramics used in the oil well drilling industry to hold fractures open around the wellbore to enhance fluid extraction after hydraulic fracturing process. They can increase the output of Oil & Gas wells. 1.Raw Materials2.Crushing Section3.Mixing Section4.Balling SectionBall Drying Section Proppant is made of Bauxite, Manganese Powder, Dolomite and Mineralizer etc. Materials Quality decides proppant quality. Materials are crushed by Jaw-Crusher, then milled by Ball Mill to make sure powder fineness suitable for manufacturing. Different powder will be mixed based on accurate materials prescriptions. Prescription will decide proppant property. Mixed powder will be made ball. Water control is key point. This section will decide production Capacity essentially. Semi-Ball will be dried by Dry Kiln here before sintering, Moisure content has obvious effect on proppant property. 5.Semi-Ball Screening6.Sintering Section7.Cooling Section8.Classification ScreeningInspection & Warehousing Semi-Ball will be screened in this section. Here the screen mesh is bigger because ball will shrink after sintering. Qualified Semi-Finished Ball will be sintered at temperature of 1300-1400 ℃, Temprature control in sintering is key point. After Sintering,, the Sintered Proppant will be cooled by water & wind in this section for further processing.
