I. Introduction
Hony® PEEK is a high temperature, high performance thermoplastic specialty engineering plastic. PEEK can be used continuously at 260 degrees without losing its physical and chemical
properties. PEEK has extremely high stiffness and hardness, as well as unique high tensile
strength and fatigue strength. In addition, its heat-resistant non-deformation performance and
chemical stability are excellent.

Levels include:
Hony® PEEK+GF30: This material is filled with 30% glass fiber reinforced grade plastic. It has better rigidity and creep resistance than pure PEEK, and better dimensional stability. It is ideal for manufacturing structural parts. It can withstand a fixed load for a long time at high temperatures. If PEEK-GF30 is used as the sliding part, its adaptability should be carefully checked because the glass fiber scratches the mating surface.
Hony® PEEK+CA30: This material is filled with 30% carbon fiber reinforcement, has better mechanical properties (higher modulus of elasticity, mechanical strength and creep) and wear resistance than PEEK-GF30, and is more resistant to carbon fiber reinforced plastics. Unreinforced PEEK plastic has 3.5 times thermal conductivity - faster heat dissipation from the bearing surface.

II. Features
Advantage:
♦ High surface hardness and dense surface, it has low wear, fatigue and impact resistance, low friction coefficient and self-lubrication
♦ High mechanical strength, high rigidity, although the shrinkage rate is large, but the size is stable
♦ Good dielectric properties, solvent resistance, no stress cracking, no porosity
♦ Resistance to twisting, immediately after the external force is removed, it will be restored as it is, and the creep resistance is good.
♦ Low water absorption
Disadvantages:
♦ Good resistance to organic solvents and alkalis, but not strong acids and strong oxidants
♦ Low weather resistance, not resistant to light, especially ultraviolet light
♦ Bonding paint is not good
