This top layer of the Dome Label consists of a polyurethane that is poured, as a liquid, over the ink,onto the material. The Dome takes a period of time to cure to the material and harden into a crystalclear protective coating that gives your decal the high-end look customer’s notice.Ink&Color

Most dome sticker and decal materials come with a 2 or 4mil acrylic or 3M permanent adhesive.Versatile and general purpose, it has excellent adhesion to a wide range of surfaces including metals andmost ABS plastics. Excellent initial tack. Minimum application temp is 60ºF; service range is -40º to +180ºF.

The liner holds your dome decal flat and protects the adhesive until it is ready for use.
Most Dome Labels ship flat on a coated paper liner or clear poly liner. If you have special requirements such asa specific liner, domes supplied on rolls or domes that have a built in curve to be applied to rounded surfaces, please contact us.

Polyurethane Doming Resin
Our domed stickers are coated with a scratch-proof polyurethane epoxy resin. Not only is the plastic coating scratch-proof, but it also protects the sticker from the sun’s harmful UV rays. This protection helps to keep your logo looking bright and fade-free, preserving each of your design’s vibrant colours for years of faithful service.

Printing & Colours
We silkscreen print or digitally print using a high resolution 4 colour (CMYK) process to print all logos, text and background colours onto the stickers. We can print onto White, Clear, Brushed Silver, Brushed Gold, Chrome Silver, and Chrome Gold vinyl substrate. CMYK printing doesn't include white ink, so when printing your design onto any of the vinyls other than white, the white sections of your design will become clear, which (in the case of the metallic vinyls) will show through the metallic effect of the vinyl itself. When printing onto Clear vinyl we print a layer of white beneath the non-white parts of the design to increase opacity. If stated in advance, spot coloured white can be printed (for vector designs) on to Clear vinyl only.

Please Note
We may have to alter your design if it is not feasible to be domed, such as if it contains pointed edges or tight internal radiuses. Corners must be rounded and need to have a minimum radius of around 2mm. Non-standard shaped stickers that require intricate doming like stars, donut rings or text may be subject to extra charges - please contact us for a quote. All orders will be given a PDF proof before production which will show any of these changes.
