Sesa Goa Limited is Indias largest producer and exporter of iron ore in the private sector. For more than five decades, Sesa is engaged in the business of exploration, mining and processing of iron ore.Over the last two decades, Sesa has diversified into manufacturing of pig iron and metallurgical coke.Sesa Goas Pig Iron business is managed through its Pig Iron Division erstwhile Sesa Industries Limited (SIL) which commenced operations in 1992 when Sesa introduced Low-Phosphorous Foundry grade Pig Iron in India for the first time. We are expanding our current pig iron production capacity of 250,000 tonnes per annum to 625,000 tonnes per annum post the current expansions.
