The body detection reagent is directly used to qualitatively detect specific antibodies of h. pylori in human serum, plasma or whole blood in vitro.Clinically, the presence of specific antibodies against gastric helicobacter pylori in the blood of patients can be used to assist the diagnosis of gastric helicobacter pylori infection, and the condition can be confirmed by combining the results of gastroscopy and clinical symptoms, which is convenient for early treatment.
[Sample Requirements]
Serum samples should not be hemolytic and should be stored at 2℃ ~ 8℃ for less than a week.
Hyperlipidemia serum should not be used.
[Limitations of testing Methods]
This reagent test is only used for the detection of helicobacter pylori antibodies rather than direct detection of Helicobacter pylori, so a positive result does not confirm helicobacter pylori infection. The diagnosis of the patient's condition should be combined with a comprehensive analysis of the patient's clinical signs and symptoms and test results.
It is possible that serum samples with low antibody content cannot be detected. Some patients with Helicobacter pylori infection do not produce antibodies or produce small amounts of antibodies. At this point, a negative result may appear.
When the results were suspicious, culture medium was used to confirm the results.
