*Interactive Dinosaur Robot
These days, a dinosaur growling and shaking its huge body has become a near prerequisite for the modern theme park, amusement park, theme park design, or exhibition.
Our "Interactive Dinosaur Robot", which brings our interactive operating system to the conventional dinosaur robot, delivers an amazing, exciting experience at any dinosaur event.
*Development Concept
With advent of mechanical technology and fine skin fabricating techniques, the conventional amusement park dinosaur robot has become very realistic in replicating dinosaur motion through a series of programmed movements.
Where these dinosaurs fall short is in their inability to react to the audience, thus delivering ultimately the impression of a well made yet still fake dinosaur.
"Interactive Dinosaur Robot" solves this problem by allowing the robot to react to the audience in real-time, just like animals in the zoo.
"A dinosaur with a mind of his own" is the concept behind the development of "Interactive Dinosaur Robot."
*Characteristics of the System
The system operator works in front of two monitors: one displaying the dinosaur's POV, and the other showing a wide angle of both the dinosaur and the audience. A small CCD camera is hidden in the head of the robot. Through the camera, the operator is able to see the dinosaurs POV in his monitor and recognize a true spatial relationship between the audience and the robot which he operates in real-time
