Description of Kangda® cast
Kangda® cast consists of knitted fiberglass fabric that impregnated with a water-activated polyurethane resin.
Kangda® cast compared with the traditional plaster cast that has these distinctive features: high strength, light weight, short hardening time, good X-ray translucency, good air permeability, easy operation, comfortable and safe, less powder during removal.
Kangda® cast products mainly used in orthopedics, plastic surgery and general surgery fractures, post-operative and sprains external fixation.
How to operate:
1. Easy operating to reduce the workload of doctors. Our polymer cast and splints are used under the room temperature. And the whole operation can be completed in a short time(several minutes). The polymer material can be curing(solidifying) or ossification in several minutes. And docotors can make them into any shape according to their demands.
2 Molding fast
It begin to be curing (solidifying) after opening the package and being watersoaked, It can bear weight in 20 mins later. The fast molding reduce patients’ affliction or suffering. The plaster bandage need more hours for the complete solidifying.
3 High Strength and light weight
The hardness of the Polymer bandage and splint is 20 times than plaster, And theweight is only 20% of the traditional plaster material. The doctors may save a lot of bandage material, time and energy.
4 Excellent air permeability
The unique knitted net stucture make the bandage many holes on the surface to keep good air ventilation and prevent the skin from getting damp,hot&pruritus. This is very important. Many patients may suffer from the skin disease and allergic reaction when then use the plaster bandage.
5 Excellent X-ray radiolucency
Excellent X-ray radiolucence make it convenient to take X-ray photos and to examine the bone healing condition without removing the bandage . If the patients use the plaster bandage, doctors need to remove it when patients need the X-ray examination. And the process of removing must casue great troubles to doctors and much suffering to patients.
6 Water-proof
The mositure absorbed percent is 85% less than plaster bandage . There are many holes on the sufface. The surface tension of the water make the water away from the skin the injured parts. Even on the situation of the patient touching the water, it still can keep the injured part dry.

Material are environmental friendly ,which can not produce polluted gas after being burn down.
8 Simple operatinon
The operation an be done under the room remperature. By using the room temperature water and doctor can complete the operation in short time( in several minuters)9 These excellent advantages make our polymer bandage and splints the best essential first aid products.
Cautions:
1.the affected region must be covered by cotton padding and the doctor should wear medical gloves while applying the cast to avoid the polyurethane resin sticking to skin and clothes. If it sticks to skin, use alcohol cotton balls to erase it at once.
2.Check packing for any damage or holes, that can no longer use when part cast becomes hard.
3.Curing requires suitable temperature. If the temperature is high and the curing time is short; if the water temperature is low and the curing time is long. Too high or too low water temperature will affect the curing effect.
4.Extending soaking or operating time affect the adhesive bandage interlayer and shaping effect.
5.Use at once after opening and shape, when multi-volume casts is used to ensure adhesion.
6.Instruct patient to try not to get wet bandages during treatment, so as to avoid skin irritation.
7.The product should be stored in a ventilated place at 15~30℃and under 60% RH.
8.The application of the cast must be under the operation or direction of the qualified doctor.
9.Mfg.Date is marked on the package. Use it before the date. The shelf life is three years.
