Product Description
Made from polyurethane,gastric tube consists of three lumens, namely the aspiration/main lumen (ID:4.1mm, equipped with medical retrievable guide wire), the feeding/auxiliary lumen (ID:1.4mm, for flushing, feeding etc.) and pressure regulation lumen(ID:1.2mm), and their connectors are funnel connector, flip Luer connector and standard Luer lock respectively. Suitable for intestinal feeding and gastric decompression/drainage.
Triple lumen Gastric tube is improved and upgraded design from the traditional single lumen gastric tube. The tube inserts from the nostril, via the pharynx and esophagus, and reaches the stomach. It can achieve gastric lavage, nutrition feeding and decompression in one-time catheterizing, and avoid the damage due to the multiple catheterizings, reducing cross-infection and relieving patient’s pain.
Work theory
That the gastric tube associates with the Gastrointestinal feeder or the liquid gravitation creates positive or negative pressure in the tubing. The gastric tube serves for feeding liquid or fluid nutrition, liquid evacuation/suction, and gastric lavage after it flows to the stomach via the esophagus.
