Product Description
Silk lampshade is applied through a spray gun while the frame twirls on a spinning base. A final transparent paint is then applied to add a sheen to the entire structure. The resulting skin is very similar to a real cocoon made by a silkworm. A web of fiberglass is bonded together with latex and stretched over steel frames, creating a retro design. When it is illuminated, the fiber shows through the silk fabric and adds texture to this unique look.
