MCMB (mesocarbon microbeads) is a synthetic graphite which is one of the promising carbon anode materials for Li-ion batteries. MCMB is beneficial for high packing density of the anode as it has high specific capacity and a spherical structure. With a lower and suitable surface area, the MCMB can minimize the unfavourable side reactions during charge-discharge process.

Applicable to a variety of lithium-ion batteries, such as EV, HEV, power tools, energy storage, consumer electronics and other fields.
