Dr. Seong Yong HA | CEO & President
Seong Yong founded AIRRANE in 2001 following a successful research career at the Korea
Institute of Science and Technology (KIST), Korea Advanced Institute of Science and
Technology (KAIST), and Hanyang University Industrial Science Institute where he was
a Principle Researcher. He graduated from Hanyang University with a PhD in Industrial
Chemistry and has lectured at Hanyang, Gyeonghee, Gangwon and Gyeongsang Universities.
In addition to his leadership at AIRRANE, Seong Yong also serves as a director of the
Membrane Society of Korea.
Bubjin Kim | Chief Operating Officer & Senior Vice PresidentBubjin joined AIRRANE in 2017 to lead its business development and operations.His career in global business development has seen him working on major M&A deals andportfolio management at leading Korean firms such as SK Innovation (2008-2015) andLS Cable System (2006-2008). Holding a Master’s degree in Materials Engineering fromHanyang University, Bubjin also obtained an MBA from the University of Oxford andMS in Energy Management at ESCP Europe. In 2016, he spent a year researching Asianenergy cooperation as a visiting researcher at Oxford Energy Institute.
Dr. Hyung Chul Koh | Head of Production & Vice PresidentOne of the founding members of AIRRANE, Hyung Chul is responsible for AIRRANE’s production,quality control and R&D. With a PhD in Polymer Engineering from Gyeongsang University,he has built most of his industry career in membrane and fiber development.
