The world renowned Russian matryoshka factory "ZAO Souvenir" traces it's history back more than 80 years to 1937. Initially, the main products were wooden toys and gifts, but eventually the production of traditional folk art themed Russian matryoshka dolls (Russian nesting dolls) became the dominant products. Now, the Vyatka style matryoshka is know all over the world for it's simple elegance and beauty. Today, alongside the traditional Vyatka style matryoshka production, we have the ability to produce different styles based upon the ideas of our clients. Whether a corporate project or event based souvenir, with the help of our art lab and creative designers, we are ready to work with you. All of our products, including chess and Russian lotto, are made from locally sourced Russian hardwood timbers, birch and linden (lime).
