Introduction
ST single-phase A.C. synchronous generators is mainly suited to use in the lighting of small shipping and household electricity in town and country.
Generator is drip-proof and salient poles rotating magnetic field self-excited constant voltage type. Internal of generator is made from quality electromagnetism and electrical materials. Insulation class of stator is E (or B). Insulation class of rotor is B. Beauty outline, sturdy construction, durable and easy to maintain. Installation size conforms to the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) standard. If use the B type end cover, it’s can meet to the requirements of Australia’s and Western’s.Generator uses two field systems. One is harmonic excitation constant voltage system, the other is automatic control excitation constant voltage system. It has optimum energy performance, convenient, reliable and durable to use.
STC series are mainly designed to serve as power generating unit of smallcapacity which supply electricity for lighting purpose in ships as well as forhousehold electric devices used in towns or villages. The construction of this generatoris of drip-proof, salient pole rotating field self-excitation andconstant voltage type. The alternator inside is made of high quality electricmagnet and electric materials. Stator insulation is of Class E (or B), rotorinsulation is of Class B.
The alternators are of harmonic wave self-excitationconstant voltage system and automatic voltage control excitation constantvoltage system, both of which have excellent dynamic characteristicperformance, convenient and reliable operation. The voltage of thealternator is 240V or 120V if necessary, the frequency is 50Hz or 60Hz.
Its operation mode is of continuous duty. The alternator can be coupledwith a prime mover directly or through a V-belt, with 5% change of speedof the prime mover under load variation from 0 to 100% and from 100% to0, at a voltage of 230V or 115V, 50Hz or 60Hz to get a satisfactoryconstant-voltage performance.
