YD welding rod:
The hard alloy composite surfacing electrode is abbreviated as YD type electrode and is made of a mixture of granular sintered cemented carbide and elasticized carcass alloy. A special layer of flux is applied and colored to identify the particle size. The sintered cemented carbide particles are mainly cobalt-containing tungsten carbide, the hardness of which is HRA89-91; the carcass metal is "nickel-copper" alloy, the tensile strength is 690 MPa, and the hardness is HB ≥ 160.
Carbide or cemented carbide crushed particles are prepared by sintering with a nickel/silver/copper alloy. Sharp carbide or carbide fracture particles have good wear resistance and cutting performance.
Cemented carbide with a sharp edge can be used for conditions requiring cutting, or carbide with a slightly blunt edge for cutting.
