Product Description

The Nexon is offered with two engine options. There is a 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol motor which produces 110PS/170Nm and a 1.5-litre diesel engine which churns out 110PS/260Nm. Both engines come mated to a 6-speed manual or AMT gearbox. Additionally, both SUVs get multiple driving modes - City, Eco, and Sport -, which alter the way the engines deliver power. Speaking of which, the diesel engine has a nice and linear power output in both manual and AMT versions. The petrol manual though feels a bit spiky in the city and needs you to constantly play with the gears. It has fixed that is sue with the AMT version. The power delivery feels smoother and the lag is virtually unnoticeable as well.
