With the development of the new technology and increasingly stringent environmental requirements, in order to satisfy clients more, PARSUN Power Machine Co., Ltd develop the 5/7/9.9horsepower electric outboard. It has applied US high-tech patents, designed to be clean and quiet for environmentally sensitive waters.
Compared with traditional gasoline outboard engine, it provides plenty of power for trolling and propulsion. And It has the conventional outboards construction and design, which provides trust-worthy reliability. If needed, two electric outboard motors can be used in parallel.
Following are more features:
1. No emission of pollution at all, meet the environmental requirements of low-carbon; smooth running and low noise.
2. More reliability and longer life because of water-cooled electrical motor and controller; Centralized control and easy operation.
3. With multiple protections, such as over-speed protection, overload protection, temperature protection, over-voltage and over-current protection. Equipped with emergency stop switch, the outboards can be stopped in emergency.
4. Users can choose to configure liquid crystal display which can show fault code, power consumption, rotation rate, corotation or reversal, voltage, current, etc. Users can choose to configure hydraulic tilt device as well.
And that is not all, the main controller of 5/7/9.9HP electric outboard motors are made in U.K.. We can provide the remote control system, which is very suitable for sightseeing boats.
Now 5/7/9.9HP electric outboard motors are officially servicing Shanghai World Expo2010 in Huangpu and Suzhou Rivers.At present, we have both 2-stroke and 4-stroke outboards in mass production. I.e.4-stroke: 2.6, 4, 5, 6, 8, 9.8, 9.9, 15, 20 and 25hp. 2-stroke:2.5,3.6,4, 5,5.8,6, 8,9.8,9.9,15,20,25,30, 40 ,60,75,85 and 90hp.

As a Sino-US JV, Parsun Power Machine (Suzhou) Co., Ltd was founded in 2001.With US high-tech partner Motenergy from Wisconsin and Japanese senior engineers and patents, Parsun Power Machine (Suzhou) Co.,Ltd. has been granted high-tech enterprise and Parsun outboards have been granted high-tech products by China government, which is among only a few thousands enterprises in China, including many Fortune 500 companies.
Meanwhile, Parsun has recently stipulated the National Standard of Gasoline Outboards for China government as the single enterprise member.
As a national high-tech enterprise, we are engaged in developing and manufacturing new high-tech products of electric and gasoline and kerosine outboards from 2 up to 90hp, 2 or 4-stroke.
Parsun technique core team, led by our Chief Engineer, have experience of outboards since 1968 and cooperated with OMC (the original manufacturer of Johnson and Evinrude outboard engines, merged by BRP ) to develop critical components for high-power outboard engines in last 90s. Our Japanese partners have been working with top brands of outboards, such as Yamaha and Tohatsu, in Japan or overseas for ages. With such professional background, Parsun, ranking the 2nd next to Mercury in the last five years in a row, has accounted for 50-70% of China exports of outboard engines as per customs statistics, except Mercury (Suzhou) plant
Similar to Mercury Marine, we have invested in Suzhou, China as a cost-effective plan for mass production. The Suzhou region has offered extensive advantages for foreign investments. Therefore, Parsun plans to increase investment and expand production facilities.
Along with fast growing sales in more countries, we have been expanding our current production facilities more than doubling and are going to set up new plants with the first-class equipment and facilities and are moving over in Sept. & Oct.
Meanwhile Parsun was the official supplier of outboards for World Expo 2010 Shanghai.
Parsun outboards, with the latest US EPA emissions standards and latest Europe CE standards as well, have been entering most countries in the world, including NGO and US / UK purchase for defense.
