I.Description
Polypropylene bitumen adhesive tape is a cold applied coating designed to provide protection against corrosion and electrolysis on below grade metal substrates.The anti corrosion bituminous rubber compound provide self sealed joints at longitudinal and end of roll overlaps, and is highly resistant to cathodic elasticity. The unique extruded PVC or PE carrier is engineered for toughness, conformability and cotrolled elasticity.
A medium duty tape ,designed to protect small and medium diameter pipes, welded joints, bens and fittings.The tough yet conformable PVC or PE backing provides excellent resistance to damage during handling and backfilling .
Polypropylene bitumen adhesive tape is cold applied adhesive waterproof membrane . Designed for internal and external tanking to prevent ingress of water into buildings and to protect building structures, culverts etc,from the effet of chloride ,sulphates etc in ground water and soil/
For the anti corrosion protection of buried or immersed pipes and fittings.Suitalbe for machine or hand application.
II.Structure
Thespecificationofthe Polypropylene bitumen adhesive tape consistsofthreelayers,a thick polymer bitumen adhesive laminated to a tough plasticised PVC or PE backing. The adhesive layer is protected by an interleaving ,whick is removed during application.
