Stent deployment procedure
A. Sterilize a fiberbronchoscope routinely, connect it with a high frequency respirator and insert it into the trachea with high frequency air feeding.
B. Under the monitoring of fiberbronchoscope or X ray, insert two 0.035” guide wires through the stricture. Insert the introducer into the position of stricture , see fig.1 .
C. Unlock the safety lock I, keep the back handle still, and withdraw the front handle to fixed handle. The two branches of stent are completely exposed out of introducer, then lock the safety lock I.
D. Continue to insert the introducer until the carina part is in the correct corresponding place with the lesion. See Fig.2.
E. Keep the introducer still, rotate the cap of puller II, withdraw the binding stripe and release one branch of the stent. See Fig.3.
F. Keep the introducer still, rotate the cap of puller I, withdraw the binding stripe and release the other one branch of the stent. See Fig.4.
G. Unlock the safety lock I and II, withdraw the front handle and release the stent completely. See Fig. 5.
H. Check and make sure that the stent is completely expanded, withdraw the introducer and guide wire from the patient’s body gently. See Fig. 6.
