A little bit of history^Year 2010. Moscow Center of Youth and Family Leisure is created by the Government of Moscow. The institution is tasked with organization of recreation for children and families from welfare recipient categories.Year 2014. The State Autonomous Institution Moscow Center of Youth and Family Leisure was renamed the State Autonomous Institution of Culture Moscow Agency for Organization of Recreation and Tourism, and the Moscow Governments Department of Culture became the agencys founder.The Government of Moscow transferred to the agencys operational control 9 youth wellness camps located in the Moscow Region.Rainbow youth wellness camp was launched after reconstruction and operates successfully, while other camps are undergoing thorough reconstruction.In accordance with the Russian Governments decree, MOSGORTUR was named the sole executor of service acquisition for youth recreation and wellness programs on the territory of the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol for all of the countrys regions.The Central School of Moscow Camp Counselors has been founded.There is a systemic selection process of camp counselor candidates among the students of Russias best universities.MOSGORTUR begins selling camp vouchers on commercial basis.Year 2015. MOSGORTUR introduces the inclusive camp sessions, for which the leisure programs were adapted to accommodate children with different abilities.First stage of Moscow Leisure Standards implementation.Year 2016. MOSGORTUR initiated development of the All-Russian Rating of Countryside Youth Camps.State Autonomous Institution of Culture Moscow Agency for Organization of Recreation and Tourism (MOSGORTUR) organizes childrens activities and recreation. The main tasks of the organization is:1.Collects, complies and maintains records of information required to define Moscows needs for childrens leisure and health improvement activities.2.Collects and maintains records of requests made by Moscow executive authorities acting as requisitioners of childrens leisure and health improvement activities.3.Based on demands received plans childrens leisure and health improvement activities for the year ahead.4.Develops unique programmes of childrens leisure activities and trains counsellors to childrens camps.5.Monitors the quality of paid childrens leisure services provided by recreational institutions as well as their compliance with the requirements of the State Standard on childrens leisure activities.6.Together with childrens recreational institutions organizes and conducts activities aimed at enhancing their effectiveness.
