Battery is a device which puts out chemical energy into electrical energy.
Lead dioxide panel(Pbo2) and general lead panel(Pb2) are placed, facing each other in thin Sulfuric acid electrolyte in battery. Lead battery generates electricity by chemical changes.
According as electricity discharges in battery, + and – pole plates changes to lead sulfate, electromotive forcegrows lower, + pole, the density of sulfuric acid decreases, and discharging stops.
