The SB Group history dates back to 1977 from humble beginnings, founded by the late Mr. Toh Sue Bee. The Group started off as a trading entity, with an average turnover, ranging USD 400,000 to USD 1.2 million annually. In 1988, SB Group gradually expanded from an import and distribution business to a large-scale manufacturing entity of self-adhesive tapes. In its subsequent phases of its growth, SB Group successfully reaped the results of its R&D efforts and was able to organize resources, manufacturing expertise and marketing strategy for its entry into direct manufacturing.
